What is Proxy Server

A proxy server is simply another computer that sits between you and your Internet service provider. Check Proxy Settings in Windows

Most browsers in Windows will use the proxy settings that have been set on the computer. Each browser has a settings page for adjusting proxy settings, but they usually link to the Windows settings dialogue.

In Windows 10, you can change settings in two ways: through the Settings app or the traditional Control Panel. I’ll mention both methods here because the Control Panel method is required for Windows 7, 8, and Vista.

Click Internet Options from the Control Panel menu.
