As we know, the Corona virus or COVID-19 has shaken the world. Merely yesterday, the WHO or World Health Organization declared the novel Corona virus as a pandemic. A matter of global concern, some bad actors are trying to benefit from this situation, as they always do. While this is disgraceful and shameful at the same time, we need to be even more aware and alert.

Online scams are widespread with fake Corona virus live maps and applications making an appearance on the Play and App Store, respectively. After several objections, Google took an extreme step by initiating a blanket ban on search terms COVID-19 and Corona virus. It will protect and secure innocent folks from trying bogus products and methods that do more harm and good.

Such applications are dangerous because most of them are spreading false news, information, and propaganda that is not only inappropriate but also dangerous. Because you will find ample other essential and necessary information such as the current news, how the virus spreads, what the government is doing to stop the further spread, feasible ways to cure it, and much more.

You’ll find links in the sidebar that will take you deeper where you’ll find live Corona virus maps for different states of America with real-time updated information on infections and whatnot. Corona virus Live Maps and Apps:

I want to stress the reality that you should also stay away from information being shared on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. The same also goes through messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, among others. People are trying to take advantage of this situation by selling rumors, fear-mongering, and spreading lies to sell make-shift products that do not even work.

There’s no official cure or vaccine for Corona virus that is known to work. So do not try anything without consulting your doctor first. Self-quarantine is the perfect way to avoid this disease. Be vigilant, and stay safe.
